Flagstone floor restoration.

This flagstone floor was in need of a bit of tlc. The stone had been down for a few hundred years,  10 slabs that had finally started to let the floor down and needed replacing.

We sourced the replacments from one of the few remaining places still quarring this stone in the UK. The biggest flagstone here measured 900x900x130, these were supplied oversized and cut and dressed  in-situ allowing us to shape the slabs to match the adjoining floor.

Finishing the floor with a colour matched lime morter, and chemical clean, this brought the floor back to life, ready for another 200 years.
